2025/26 Program Sessions
We offer a one-day-a-week, project-based drop-off program for learners ages 8–14. For the 2025–26 school year, we'll be running four 9-week sessions from September 2025 through May 2026. Tuition is $350 per child, per session. Each session features a unit of study that drives our learning and activities. These units encourage students to explore a specific topic while allowing them the freedom to approach it in their own way.
Session 1
Connections and Community
Our first unit of the 2025-2026 school year is Connections and Community. Learners will reflect on aspects within a community and how each part of a community works together to create the larger community vision. The group will explore the economics within a community and different systems of barter, trade, and commerce. Those interested will look at different types of communities around the world and throughout history, considering how these communities relied on the natural world in different ways depending on the climate, geography, and culture of the region.

Older learners will investigate different types of government, compare and contrast these differences and how the decisions of the government impact those within the community. As always, the facilitators will be ready to meet learners’ interest where it is and follow questions and ideas that are sparked along the way. We may investigate the role of animals and pets within these communities, as well as the role of stories, myths, and games. Learners will have the opportunity to take part in building a community and consider the different elements needed to make a community run smoothly.

Middle school learners have the opportunity to deepen this learning with their Wednesday Deep-Dive program, where they will engage in a book and writing club. The first topic of the book club will be dystopian fiction, where we will examine the different types of communities within this genre.
